November 29, 2006 - Boston, MA. - Barton & Gray Mariners Club has complemented the Club’s fleet of Hinckley Jet Boats with WallyPower 47’s and WallyPower 70’s for both Luxury Runabout and General Mariner Membership types. Wally, headquartered in the Principality of Monaco, Italy has been building World-Class Sailing and Power yachts for over a decade. Sandy Spaulding, President of Barton & Gray commented, “Wally’s appreciation for design, quality, and fun make their yachts a perfect addition to the Barton & Gray Mariners Club Fleet.”
The 70 WallyPower is developed from the successful 118 WallyPower sharing the same characteristics of speed, comfort, style, and seaworthiness. On deck, this 70 foot motor yacht features three different social areas. The forward cockpit is well protected and sheltered, offers great privacy at anchor and at dock, and features a table comfortably seating 10 people. The salon under the glass superstructure acts as an inside-outside living area and is unusually large for this size of boat. The aft cockpit provides for another stylish seating and dining area. Other features include the wrap-around fender, the wide boarding/swimming ladder concealed in the transom and the tender garage for the storage of the annex and jet skis. The propulsion system consists of two MTU diesel engines generating 3,000 Hp driving KaMeWa water-jets, providing a max speed of 45 knots.
This 47 footer features a large deck and sheltered area with the navigation console and the cockpit seating eight people. The accommodation is for 3 guests in two separate cabins. The service area includes the head, shower, and the galley. The two engines generate 880 Hp and are driven by KaMeWa water jets. The gasoline capacity is 528 US gal to allow a range of 500 miles.
Piero Consoli, President of Wally Yachts, said at the Ft Lauderdale International Boat Show “I am so pleased that Barton & Gray has added Wally Yachts to their fleet. It is an excellent platform to further introduce our boats to the United States market.”
Barton & Gray Mariners Club is accepting reservations for partial ownership of both the 47’ and 70’ WallyPower for all markets served by the Mariners Club. Please contact Barton & Gray Mariners Club at 866-726-3555 to learn more and secure you position aboard these unique and beautiful yachts.
