SailTime® Channel Islands, SailTime® Boston and SailTime® Orange County Recognized for Sailing Schools and Instructors
Annapolis, MD – SailTime® Group LLC, the world leader in fractional boating, was honored with three ASA Outstanding Sailing Schools of the Year awards for 2008, recognizing the sailing instructional programs offered at its SailTime® Channel Islands, Boston and Orange County bases. Also, SailTime® instructors from Channel Islands (Captain Dan Ryder) and Orange County (Captain Roger Philips) were recognized as ASA Outstanding Sailing Instructors of the Year for 2008. The award is given annually by the American Sailing Association (ASA), the governing body for sailing schools. Awards are based on surveys completed by graduating students.
Fraser Yachts is very excited to announce the arrival of Gerrard Harvey as the new Director of the Fraser Yachts Yacht Management Division, based in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Gerrard brings a rich history of multi cultural and international experience to Fraser Yachts. Originally from Christchurch New Zealand Gerrard joined the Royal New Zealand Navy after completing High School education at Marist Brothers in Palmerston North. In 1980 he attended the officer promotion course before being selected to attend the Royal Naval Engineering College at RNEC Manadon United Kingdom.

23rd May 2007 - Frank Brand, CEO of Fraser Yachts Worldwide, has received top-level recognition for his significant achievements as a mariner and as an industry leader in the yacht services industry. The prestigious “Mariner of the Year” award is one of the highest honors bestowed by the renowned Massachusetts Maritime Academy (MMA). Maritime industry leaders are eligible to be put forward for the award but only one outstanding recipient is chosen each year. The many nominations were reviewed and shortlisted by the National Maritime Day Committee before being whittled down to the final winner.
