2006 NBAA Sold Out

NBAA Convention Floor Sold Out For First the First Time In Show History

The National Business Aviation Association announced on their web site that for the first time in the shows history the convention floor has been sold out.  With 5 weeks to go before the annual meeting and convention close to 1,150 exhibitors have registered and over 5,000 10' by 10' booth spaces have been sold.  Included on the show floor this year are 11 aircraft and four helicopters the most aircraft ever shown on the floor.

NBAA 2006 is being held in Orlando Florida from October 17th through the 19th with static aircraft displays at the Orlando Executive Airport.  This year the static display is expected to include over 100 aircraft.

Historically the NBAA convention has been a staging point for the release of news and information from across the aircraft industry.  Press releases and announcements concerning new aircraft designs, FAA certification, financing and pricing can always be expected.

While NBAA is primarily focused on business aviation many other industries are present that have both loose and direct associations with the aircraft industry.  Resorts, Vacation Property, Yacht and Sailing, Finance and Limosine Service exhibits are not uncommon as they are associated with the use of aicraft for both business and personal use.
