NetJets Europe to upgrade Falcon 2000EX

Paris, 20 June 2007 – NetJets Europe, the continent's leading private jet company, today announced plans to upgrade its entire fleet of Falcon 2000EX aircraft, to create a better performing and more fuel-efficient fleet.

In the next year NetJets will retrofit High Mach Blended Winglets onto its fleet of eight Falcon 2000EX EASy aircraft, transforming the aircraft into a Falcon 2000LX – the new 4,000 nautical mile aircraft Dassault unveiled at EBACE in May this year. The aircraft upgrade is valued at $4.4 million and will begin in late 2007.

The Falcon 2000EX is already the most fuel efficient large cabin business jet in the world. The introduction of the new aerodynamic wing design, which acts to significantly reduce drag, will improve the fuel efficiency of the aircraft by five per cent at Mach .80 and extend its range by 200 nautical miles.

Bill Kelly, CEO of NetJets Transportes Aéreos said:

"We are committed to working towards operating a more fuel-efficient, better performing fleet. This upgrade not only reduces the Falcon's fuel consumption but also improves the aircraft's performance - offering our customers' improved climb performance and additional range to meet their flight requirements."

The advanced blended winglet design from Aviation Partners will require some structural and systems modifications. Reinforcing straps will be added to the upper and lower wing panels and the servo actuator door will be reinforced.

NetJets Europe is Dassault Aviation's largest customer on the continent operating a fleet of 17 Falcon jets. In September 2006 NetJets Europe signed the largest jet order in European history for 24 Falcon 7X aircraft valued at $1.1 billion enhancing the strong working relationship between the two companies.
