Landmark and Avantair Sign Maintenance Agreement For Piaggio Aircraft Fleet

Orlando, Florida (October 16th, 2006)— Landmark Aviation and Avantair Inc. announced today that the companies have signed a five-year maintenance service agreement for Landmark to provide service, including heavy maintenance inspections for the fractional carriers fleet of Avanti P.180 aircraft. The value of the contract is $5 million over five years and may increase if additional aircraft are serviced.  “Landmark Aviation is pleased to work closely with Avantair to provide comprehensive aircraft service for the Avantair fleet,” said Mark Larsen, Vice President, Large Fleet & Government Accounts. “The agreement provides Avantair with a dedicated heavy maintenance facility at Greensboro, N.C., one of nine Landmark Aviation aircraft service centers in North America offering complete services for corporate aircraft.”

The agreement includes routine inspections — C and D checks — for the fractional carriers fleet of Avanti P.180 aircraft, in addition to 36 Avanti II aircraft on order. Landmarks Greensboro operation, an FBO and MRO service center, provides airframe, engine and avionics service in addition to parts sales and a full range of FBO amenities. Services include fuel, de-icing, line service, ground and cargo handling and aircraft handling.
