CLEVELAND (January 8, 2007) – Flight Options, LLC, a leading provider of fractional shares in business aircraft and a Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), announced today that the company has named Philip LaVelle as vice president of Sales and Marketing.
In his role, Mr. LaVelle will lead the companys sales and marketing divisions. He will oversee the teams responsible for marketing, advertising, partnerships and selling the Flight Options portfolio of products – including Fractional First™, JetPASS Ultimate Travel and aircraft management.
Recently, LaVelle served as senior vice president, Sales and Marketing for Wayne-Dalton Corporation, a leading manufacturer of residential and commercial overhead doors. He was responsible for all domestic and international sales and marketing with independent dealers, national accounts, major retailers and company-owned distribution centers. Prior to this role, he held senior management level positions with PrimeSource Building Products, Inc., an Itochu Inc. subsidiary and Builder Marts of America, a Guardian Industries, Inc. subsidiary. He received a Bachelor of Science in marketing and finance from the Ohio State University and attended an Executive Management Program in association with the Wharton School of Finance.
