Flexjet Boosts Strategy and Sales Teams With New Hires

FlexJet- Alan Stoddard joins company as Director of Strategy
- Jason Bannerman and Adam Smith to serve as new regional Jet Card Sales Directors

Dallas, Dec. 9, 2010 (www.flexjet.com) – To enhance 15 years of award-winning, private aviation solutions, Flexjet is proud to announce Alan Stoddard as the new Director of Strategy responsible for the expansion of key business initiatives and strategic alliances. In addition, Flexjet is adding two new sales directors to its national team. Jason Bannerman and Adam Smith will serve as Jet Card Sales Directors in the Washington, D.C. and Atlanta areas, respectively. In their positions, both will be focused on generating revenue and furthering Flexjet’s presence in the private-aviation market. With a notable background in the aerospace industry dating back 25 years, Stoddard comes to Flexjet as an experienced and versatile business executive with a proven record of delivering quality, earnings, and revenue growth. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Stoddard served as Vice President of Business Development for the then start-up company, Space Exploration Technologies. He was responsible for driving all business development activities in the commercial segment, including strategic partnerships, pricing and contract negotiations.

In Stoddard’s new position, he will be responsible for overseeing the identification, evaluation and management of alliance relationships to better facilitate the development of new and existing markets. This includes planning, research and analysis of strategic business development initiatives. Stoddard will also be developing, directing and implementing plans to improve and expand the organization’s strategic market position and drive growth and financial profitability.

“We’re proud to have Alan as an integral part of our strategy team,” said Fred Reid, President, Flexjet. “His aerospace background and impressive business intellect will help us identify exactly where we need to be in the market to ultimately grow our bottom line.”

Bannerman joins Flexjet after more than 15 years of record-setting benchmarks selling to a high-net-worth demographic base. Most recently he worked at a premier exclusive membership club that provided customers with access to a variety of unique automotive entertainment driving experiences. Reporting to the CEO, Bannerman was responsible for the company’s highest-grossing profit centers, including new member acquisitions, events and sponsorships.

Smith joins the Flexjet sales team with more than eight years of aviation industry experience. Most recently, Smith worked as Aircraft Sales Manager at Cessna Finance Corporation where he established a joint division turbine aircraft sales and delivery process between Cessna Finance Corporation and the Cessna Used Aircraft Division. As Customer Solutions Manager at Cessna, Smith managed $200 million in business and personal jet aircraft accounts from contract inception and deposit management to aircraft deliveries. Smith, a true aviation enthusiast, is also a Certified Flight Instructor and pilot.

In their new roles, reporting to Flexjet’s vice president of sales and marketing, Bob Knebel, both men will be responsible for sales of jet card and charter brokerage products in their designated geographic areas. Goals consist of generating revenue and meeting sales objectives in alignment with Flexjet’s strategic business plan. They will also coordinate with other departments and Flexjet business partners to promote sales of Bombardier business aircraft programs.

“There is a tremendous growth opportunity in the D.C. and Atlanta regions,” said Bob Knebel, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Flexjet. “The addition of Jason and Adam to our sales team ensures our ability to provide the highest level of service---for which Flexjet is known---to best respond to the needs of current and future customers.”
