Fleet Expansion Driven by Continued Growth in Customer Demand
CINCINNATI, April 29, 2008 - Delta AirElite Business Jets has added another Gulfstream G550 to its operating certificate. The new factory-delivered aircraft joins the Delta AirElite fleet through an aircraft management agreement and is based in Southern California.
The ultra long-range Gulfstream G550 is one of the most technically advanced aircraft currently in production. With a nonstop range of nearly 8,000 statute miles and a maximum cruise speed of 560 mph, the G550 is capable of flying nonstop itineraries such as New York to Tokyo and Los Angeles to Sydney. Offering luxurious cabin amenities and spacious seating for up to19 passengers, the G550 is designed to maximize passenger comfort as well as provide a productive work environment. Delta AirElite was one of the first charter operators to certify the Gulfstream G550 for commercial charter services, having added the first aircraft in July 2004.
"We continue to see strong demand nationwide due to the growth of our Fleet Membership jet card and charter programs," added Greene. "Expanding our fleet and global reach allows us to not only meet this demand, but enhance the choices for our customers."
Delta AirElite continues to strategically expand its fleet through aircraft management agreements which provide high-quality and well-maintained jets for its broad base of customers. Aircraft management agreements are an attractive option for corporations and aircraft owners who want to lower aircraft ownership costs, generate revenue and enjoy unique benefits available only through Delta AirElite.
