CitationAir Recalls Furloughed Pilots as Business Improves

CitationAirGREENWICH, CT., November 30, 2009 – With positive sales trends and forecasted demand, CitationAir by Cessna, a leader in providing business jet solutions, today announced that 16 pilots will be recalled from furlough, representing approximately 20 percent of those furloughed earlier this year. In addition to the returning pilots, 13 percent of pilots who were previously downgraded to First Officer will be promoted to the level of Pilot in Command.

“We are gratified to be able to bring back so many of our pilots at a time when the industry needs to hear some good news,” said Steve O’Neill, CEO of CitationAir. “The significant uptick we have seen in our Jet Management business during this challenging year fuels our optimism for a sustained recovery of our Jet Card and Jet Shares businesses in 2010. Customers are looking for flexibility and value and our combination of customized products, including our innovative Corporate Solutions Supplemental Lift
program, is showing customers that there is a partner in the industry who will do what it takes to jumpstart the market.”

The announcement comes in conjunction with the upcoming arrival of the Citation X aircraft into the company’s Jet Management program. “Introducing the Citation X will ultimately allow our customers to experience the range and speed benefits that come with flying on the world’s fastest business jet,” said O’Neill. “It also more closely aligns our product line to that of Cessna.”

In October 2009, CitationAir revealed its evolved business model and announced a new branding which has further strengthened its alignment with Cessna Aircraft Company. For more information on CitationAir please visit www.citationair.com.
