 NetJets Aviation and NetJets International to be recognized as single transportation system
WOODBRIDGE, NJ (September 19, 2008) – NetJets has notified the NetJets Association of Shared Aircraft Pilots (NJASAP) of its decision to voluntarily recognize NetJets Aviation (NJA) and NetJets International (NJI) as a single transportation system for purposes of collective bargaining under the Railway Labor Act. Accordingly, the Company will begin to integrate all NJA, NJI and NetJets Large Aircraft pilots into a consolidated system-wide seniority list in accordance with a 2007 letter of agreement between the Company and NJASAP. NJA and NJI will continue to operate as separate companies, and terms of the NJA/NJLA pilot collective bargaining agreement will become effective at NJI on or before Nov. 21, 2010. |
